Assistant Professor - Department of Psychiatry (Translational and Clinical Research Child Psychiatrist)

Position Details: The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) are seeking Child Psychiatrists with a strong interest in translational an clinical research and enthusiasm for teaching and mentorship. Positions are available at the assistant and associate levels, but qualified candidates will also be considered.

Successful candidates will join a vibrant and highly interactive research community with a long history of excellence in basic, translational and clinical research. The Department of Psychiatry is prepared to invest substantial resources to ensure success.

Applicants should have an established area of research interest. Additionally, they must have a medical degree (or equivalent), must have successfully completed an accredited Child Psychiatry fellowship by the time of hire, and must be eligible for both an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and malpractice insurance.
