Dr. Cartwright is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at Wake Forest School of Medicine.  He is an author or co-author of over 75 publications, many of which focus on neuromuscular ultrasound.  He is also the co-editor of the textbook “Neuromuscular Ultrasound.”  Dr. Cartwright is active in clinical practice as well as research, and has particular interest in projects that advance the clinical utility of neuromuscular ultrasound. He has an ALS Clinic, MDA Clinic, general neuromuscular disease clinic, and Diagnostic Neurology Lab (nerve conduction, EMG, ultrasound, autonomic testing, skin biopsy, and lumbar puncture).
