Dr. Kathleen Cho aims to understand intact and dysfunctional executive function in neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases. Her investigations combine aspects of cellular and systems neuroscience, using the tools of molecular biology, transgenics, in vitro and in vivo physiology, optogenetics and fiber photometry, and behavioral assays in mice. Dr. Cho completed her PhD at MIT under the mentorship of Dr. Mark Bear. She is now a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Diego.
