Research Specialist - Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory,

Full-time position available beginning June or July 1, 2016. The Research Specialist will provide assistance on clinical research studies. Primarily responsible for testing of psychiatrically-ill subjects and psychiatrically-well comparison subjects in imaging studies, including evaluating subjects, scheduling subjects for study visits, assisting in recording and analysis of EEG/MEG in subjects, basic neuropsychological test administration and scoring, and management of research databases. Will also be responsible for coordinating with other research and imaging collaborators, and providing guidance to other staff, fellows, and students.

A minimum of one academic year (2 semesters) in EEG or MEG acquisition and/or analysis is required. Knowledge of BioSemi, Brain Vision Analyzer, EEGLab, and BESA is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field is required, as are experimental research training, expertise with computer programs including spreadsheets, statistical packages, word processing and graphics, excellent interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and assignments, and careful attention to detail.
